I was playing a lot of Pokémon GO recently and started wondering about how the throwing mechanic was made. Since there is a lack of updated tutorials on YouTube at the moment about this topic, I decided to give it a try! I hope you like it!

Hey, I watched your video since I was interested in making a Pokémon GO-throw inspired mechanic for my GMTK Game Jam project! I really enjoyed your video and seeing how you decided to fake the physics, and Freya's Bezier curves video is awesome. I ended up using mostly Unity default physics for my own implementation, but I did take your insight of storing the last 10 frames to determine the throw with.

good!
